La Roche-Posay Effaclar Adapalene Gel 0.1% is a prescription-strength retinoid acne treatment. This oil-free, fragrance-free acne treatment contains adapalene gel, a dermatologist recommended retinoid. Retinoids are recommended by dermatologists to help clear and prevent blackheads, whiteheads, clogged pores, and acne blemishes. This non-greasy, gel-like texture is quickly absorbed into skin. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. For example, if your acne is on the face, apply the product to the entire face.
